The Role:

The Global Director, Revenue Enablement is responsible for developing and executing strategies, processes, and tools to maximize sales team effectiveness. This role focuses on leading sales onboarding and ongoing training initiatives to equip teams with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to drive success. The Director will collaborate closely with sales leadership, marketing, and product teams to align enablement efforts with business goals, ensuring long-term success. Additionally, the role supports key sales events such as Sales Kickoffs, quarterly business reviews, and sales all-hands meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Onboarding & Training Programs:
    • Design, implement, and manage an effective sales onboarding program that rapidly equips new hires with product knowledge, sales techniques, and tools to achieve targets.
    • Continuously refine and update onboarding materials based on feedback and evolving business needs.
    • Lead and develop ongoing training programs to improve skills, product knowledge, and sales methodologies across the team.
  • Content Development & Delivery:
    • Develop and manage training content, resources, and tools to support both new and experienced sales teams.
    • Partner with product, marketing, and sales leaders to create and maintain training materials, sales playbooks, product demos, and competitive intelligence.
    • Ensure all content is consistent, scalable, and easily accessible to the sales team.
  • Sales Tools & Technology:
    • Manage and implement sales enablement tools and platforms, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the sales team.
    • Train sales staff on how to effectively use CRM systems, sales engagement tools, and other technologies to streamline their workflows.
    • Analyze tool adoption and impact and refine processes as necessary to improve efficiency.
  • Performance Metrics & Analytics:
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of onboarding and training programs.
    • Regularly assess the impact of enablement initiatives on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement.
    • Create dashboards and reporting tools to track sales readiness, productivity, and effectiveness.
  • Continuous Learning & Development:
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning by providing ongoing coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities.
    • Stay informed on industry trends, new selling techniques, and emerging technologies to continuously update and improve training initiatives.
    • Conduct regular assessments and feedback sessions to identify skill gaps and provide targeted training.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with sales leadership to align enablement programs with overall sales objectives.
    • Work with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure sales reps are equipped with the latest insights, messaging, and product knowledge.
    • Act as a liaison between sales and other departments to ensure that sales enablement initiatives support the broader business strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience leading global revenue enablement in a mid to large software company.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing successful onboarding, continuous training (everboarding), and enablement programs.
  • Deep understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficient with sales enablement tools (e.g., CRM systems, learning management systems, sales engagement platforms).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
  • Data-driven approach with a focus on metrics and performance analysis.

The compensation for this position is commensurate upon experience, with a range between $145,000.00-$200,000.00 USD in on target earnings.
