Dentist

The Dentist provides comprehensive, appropriate and quality dental care and treatment to patients.


This role is on-site at our Midtown location, Sacramento, CA (95811).

Dental Department Hours:

  • Monday - Thursday, 8am-7pm
  • Friday, 8am-6pm
  • Saturday, 9am-5pm
  • Sunday, CLOSED

The specific schedule will be determined at the time of offer and will include rotating Saturdays.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide routine and emergency dental services, including exams, diagnosis and treatment plans, cleanings, general restorative procedures, crown and bridge, removable prosthetics, uncomplicated endodontics and minor oral surgery.
  • Prescribe and interpret X-ray and lab studies.
  • Administer and prescribe anesthetics and medications.
  • Provide dental and oral health education.
  • Ensure the delivery of all dental treatment and care is consistent with all regulatory, accreditation and professional standards, including clinic policies and quality initiatives.
  • Demonstrate high degree of knowledge and competency in the practice of dentistry and associated charting requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy, efficiency and appropriate confidentiality with patient charting and related recordkeeping.

Education/Experience Required:

  • All licenses and certifications are to be kept current and in good standing with the CA Dental Board.
  • D.S./D.M.D. from an accredited dental school.
  • CA Dental License.
  • DEA license.
  • CA Board approved courses necessary for license renewal - CA Dental Practice Act and CA Dental Infection Control.
  • American Heart Association approved BLS Certification (CPR).
  • 3 years of experience preferred.
