Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a manufacturing client in Northern, IN who is looking to add an HR Manager to their team. The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing recruitment, selection and the onboarding process
• Managing a company’s appraisal system and conducting appraisal meetings
• Ensuring that a company’s procedures comply with employment regulations
• Managing and training the HR team
• Monitoring various aspects of an employee’s performance, such as attendance and sick leave
• Accessing the need for training and then designing and implementing training programs accordingly
• Handling any disciplinary processes and formal grievances
• Setting and reviewing pay structures and employee perks and benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
• 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
• Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
• Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
• Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
• Attention to detail and good judgement
