Job Title: Senior Logistics Analyst
Location: San Diego, CA
Salary Range: $38 to $45 per hour DOE
Introduction:
Rivet Operations Company (“Rivet”) has an opening for a Senior Logistics Analyst to join our rapidly growing team in the San Diego, CA area. Rivet is an exceptional industry partner to the Department of Defense (DoD) and a leader in logistics, supply chain management, and process improvement.
Duties:
The performance of this work requires the application of broad knowledge of a wide variety of logistics support activities necessary to support Navy Operations. These include, but are not limited to:
- Identify all activities involved in providing needed logistical support.
- Provide policy, strategy, planning, and daily technical services for non-aviation supply related material issues.
- Support OBRPs allowancing/outfitting requirements, configuration management, and programs aboard CNAP/CNAL naval aircraft carriers (CVNs).
- Review proposed Integrated Logistics Systems (ILS) programs and communicate with NAVSEA, NAVSUP WSS Mechanicsburg (NAVSUP WSS-M), and NAVMEDLOGCEN.
- Attend ILS conferences and training.
- Evaluate and formulate programs for support of systems installed on all CVNs during ILS meetings.
- Review COSAL initial outfitting requisitions with NAVSUP WSS-M for all CVNs.
- Assist in resolving carrier material and configuration issues for CASREPs.
- Review carrier R-Supply COSAL analysis/percentage reports.
- Provide services in connection with non-aviation supply technical support for all CVNs.
- Integrate actions into a comprehensive logistics plan in support of overall program plans.
- Monitor progress toward meeting the logistics plan and identify causes of delays or problems.
- Adjust plans and schedules as required by delays or changes to logistics requirements.
- Evaluate plans for logistical support for feasibility and efficiency.
- Determine detailed requirements for funds, manpower, facilities, equipment, supplies, and services.
Compensation:
Minimum: $79,040
Maximum: $93,600
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to prioritize.
- Initiative-taker requiring minimal supervision.
- Team player.
- 20 years of logistic experience in the U.S military preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics or a business discipline is required.
- Experience with financial management in the Navy.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications.
- Proficiency in Stock Control functions, ERP, NALCOMIS, AIS, NAVSUP One Touch, and other logistics systems.
- Experience with U.S Government and U.S. Navy HAZMAT management programs.
- Experience and knowledge of aircraft carrier (CVN) programs.
Security Clearance:
Position requires applicant to be a US Citizen and obtain and maintain the required security clearance for the position.
Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods. Must have mobility for daily duties and may require lifting up to 40 lbs.
