Role Summary

The Manager, Talent Management will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing our talent management strategies. This individual will work closely with leaders to ensure new employees are onboarded in a way that sets them up for success. This person will also play a key role in the development and execution of strategies that help EQ employees reach their individual and collective potential. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of talent management best practices, a passion for fostering employee growth, and a strategic mindset to align talent initiatives with organizational goals. This role reports to the SVP, Head of People & Culture and is based in the office, 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and regularly update comprehensive onboarding program to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company culture and their individual roles.
  • Identify and implement development programs and frameworks that support career growth and skill enhancement.
  • Oversee EQ’s Feedback Exchange Program and similar initiatives to further integrate candid, real-time feedback and to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Partner with HRBPs and leadership team on design, coordination and execution of effective team interventions and offsites.
  • Plays a pivotal role in the ongoing evolution and education of the EQ Foundations (Values) and ways it can show up and leveraged in the day-to-day.
  • Conduct regular surveys to gauge employee engagement and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with People & Culture leadership to align talent management strategies and initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal and external programs and vendors and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Design and facilitate custom training modules or produce content to be delivered in partnership with in-house leaders.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve talent management processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in talent management or related HR roles.
  • Knowledge of performance management systems, employee development practices, onboarding processes, and engagement strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly engaging facilitator, content creator and storyteller, adept at tailoring delivery to different audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS), Workday is preferred.
  • Resourceful and highly self-motivated.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Salary range (for posting): $120,000-130,000
