The Florida Seniors Vote Director will manage the campaign’s efforts to reach, engage, and mobilize Seniors and labor workers nationwide.

An organizer at heart, this ultimate utility player will build and manage the Seniors for Harris program.

The Director will work with partners across the campaign and with key stakeholders to break through the noise about what’s at stake for voters this election, reach voters where they are, and mobilize this critical coalition to elect Kamala Harris and Democrats up and down the ticket.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implement the campaign’s strategy to engage and mobilize Senior supporters.
2. Plan, shape, and represent the campaign at coalition events, meetings, conference calls, and trainings that advance program goals.
3. Build and manage relationships with key Seniors in advocacy, political, and organizing spaces.
4. Convene and organize both internal and external working groups to map out, strategize, and successfully create new opportunities to reach and mobilize Senior voters.
5. Collaborate and coordinate across departments on events, messaging, policy, and programming focused on Senior voters.
6. Other duties as assigned to support the coalitions department.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

1. Prior experience working on Senior/Labor outreach or Senior policies on a campaign or political organization. Experience managing people a plus, but not required.
2. Proven track record building and managing coalitions among diverse stakeholders, reaching consensus and action.
3. Strong political judgment and knowledge of key issues that matter to Senior voters.
4. Creative thinker. Excellent writer. Strong communicator and storyteller.
5. Type A about organizing. Knows their way around spreadsheets. Can manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a detail-oriented manner. Ability to work well under pressure.
