When you step into a career with AT&T, you won’t just imagine the future-you’ll create it.As a Manager-Logistics, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing logistics unit in the performance of order placement and tracking, receiving, stocking, selecting, packing, shipping and supplier performance management.Key Roles and Responsibilities:Supervising and managing a team of bargained employees consisting of Material Controllers, Fleet Mechanics, Drafters and Administrative Associates including leading regular huddles to discuss and direct assignmentsOverseeing the flow and distribution of inventory and suppliesMaintaining technician work schedules; attendance managementProviding feedback, training, and coaching to employeesEvaluating and appraising employee performanceInterviewing, and gauging the skill level of, potential hires and transfersHandling employee grievances consistent with the collective bargaining agreement at the step one levelIdentifying and removing roadblocks to safe and efficient performance by employees; and conducting in-field safety and quality inspections to ensure employees are performing work properly and safely.Act as single point of contact for virtually all customer escalations.Resolve customer complaints on behalf of companyServe as the organizations Fleet Manager overseeing all vehicles ensuring compliance with both internal and external policiesImplement warehouse practices and procedures that improve inventory accuracy, project material accountability and reduce overheadManage the budget used to procure valuable network equipmentFollow the Business Units Safety Plan completing all required Safety Observations and Competencies in the required timeframeRequired Experience:2-5 years relevant experience.Desired Education:High school diploma preferredEnvironmental Requirements:This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&Ts compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.Our Lead Network Technology Support earns between $87,200 - $130,800 annually.
