Position Summary

The Regional Sales Director is responsible for leading, managing and developing a team of Regional Account Managers who are responsible for cold calling, prospecting and building relationships that will increase account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction within the NPS product portfolio. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Nuclear Sales.

Territory: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Eastern Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Northwest Indiana, Northwestern Ohio, Kentucky, Western Tennessee and Northern Mississippi.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provides leadership and line management to Regional Account Managers and experienced professional staff.
  2. Leads and is accountable to specific field sales territory management objectives, including mapping, customer call cadences, and assigned weekly call frequencies.
  3. Develops specific sales and financial objectives for assigned region, teams and individuals.
  4. Manages and is accountable for an annual organizational budget, including expense control and revenue goals.
  5. Develops and implements policies and procedures to achieve organizational goals.
  6. Interacts with internal and/or external leaders, including senior management.
  7. Develops tactical marketing and sales programs.
  8. Analyzes sales budgets and customer profiles; creates action plans to maximize customer satisfaction.
  9. Prepares regular reports and analysis for management.
  10. Complies with and implements Company policies, programs and procedures.
  11. Acts as a change agent by leading change and helping others to understand and implement change.
  12. Communicates market intelligence on competitive activity.
  13. Develops high quality, long lasting relationships with customers.
  14. Performs other job-related duties as requested.

Position Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  2. People leadership experience required with 5 – 7 years of healthcare and/or clinical diagnostic sales management experience preferred.
  3. Strong preference for experience selling and leading teams in clinical, diagnostic, imaging or lab products.
  4. Proven leadership success with focus on coaching and development.
  5. Excellent planning, forecasting, negotiation and presentation skills.
  6. Radiology experience is a plus.
  7. Salesforce experience preferred.
  8. Knowledge of healthcare landscape in assigned market highly preferred.
  9. Ability to travel up to 60%.
  10. Candidate must live in the designated geography.

Anticipated salary range: $185,700 - $248,580 (Includes targeted variable pay)
