TelevisaUnivision is looking for an Account Executive to join our team!

The Account Executive will play a critical role within our fast-paced advertising sales team, focusing on driving revenue for linear and digital platforms. This role will develop sales revenue from new advertisers as well as maximize revenue from an assigned list (active & non-active accounts). This is a great career opportunity for a motivated and dynamic individual with extensive agency relationships and demonstrated experience in multi-platform sales including Audience/Advanced TV, Streaming/OTT, Social, Digital, and Linear. This role will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing accounts while simultaneously cultivating and growing new client relationships, driving complex deals, and creating new business opportunities.

You are a highly motivated and energetic professional that can maintain and grow existing accounts. You are an individual who is motivated and dynamic who has extensive client agency relationships.

Your Day-to-Day

  1. Cultivate relationships and service new and existing key accounts to increase revenue.
  2. Sell through Univision’s suite of services across all platforms.
  3. Prospect new business through self-generated leads via existing contacts, cold calling, networking, etc.
  4. Look for opportunities to develop monetization solutions for clients, and ensure clients receive superior customer service.
  5. Selling of Linear, Experiential, Digital, Branded Content, and Social Advertising.
  6. Manage business plan, pipeline, business reports, and revenue projections with attention to detail by set deadlines as required by management.
  7. Achieve individual quarterly and annual sales goals.
  8. Accountable for accuracy and all aspects of campaigns’ implementation including but not limited to client orders, commercial traffic instructions, promotions, proof of performance, recaps, invoices, collections, etc. in accordance with company guidelines.
  9. Work closely with support staff and other departments to ensure smooth execution of all campaigns.
  10. Maintain detailed and organized account records.
  11. Other duties as deemed necessary.

You Have

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  2. Minimum 3 years of direct media sales experience with a proven history of meeting and exceeding sales goals and driving YOY growth and a demonstrated track record in closing new business.
  3. Experience with media sales order entry and stewardship.
  4. Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  5. Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to translate ideas into clear, high-impact communications presenting in front of a client.
  6. Experience closing medium to large size deals: $500K and above.
  7. Established senior-level agency relationships as well as clients and brand managers.
  8. Dynamic personality with the ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  9. Good interpersonal and organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  10. Demonstrated experience with social media sales.
  11. Working knowledge of Winmo, Kantar, Matrix, Strata, and Wide Orbit.
  12. Drive and passion to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
  13. Fluency in Spanish (read and write) is a plus.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Must be willing to work from the office in Los Angeles.
  2. Employment/education will be verified.
  3. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  4. Time flexibility required to interact with people in different geographical locations, and work extended hours, sometimes on short notice due to project deadlines and to attend after-hours client events.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position.
