**Job Title:** Emergency Room Nurse

**Shift:** Varies, every other weekend
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 1 year of experience
**License:** Current unencumbered RN license required upon submission.
**Certifications:**
- Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS required
- ACLS, TNCC, and PALS required
**Must-Have:** Previous Emergency Department nurse experience preferred. CEN preferred.
**Job Description:**
The Emergency Department is dedicated to providing care for patients with diverse medical needs, ranging from non-critical to emergent conditions, including urgent mental health care. We ensure all staff are highly trained to handle critical cardiac and trauma cases, including pediatric emergencies.
- Deliver comprehensive emergency care to all patients, whether they arrive on foot or by emergency transport.
- Utilize certifications to manage critical cardiac and trauma situations effectively.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure optimal patient safety and care.
- Adapt to varying shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records using the EPIC EMR system.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient care and nursing practice.
Holiday coverage is required for this position.
