Shifts: Days (Mon-Fri) 8 Hrs, 10 Hrs, 12 Hrs
Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Social Worker, who has experience of EMDR or Accelerated Resolution Therapy to join our medical team in Milan, IL.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Perform drug and alcohol assessments for residential services, so long as no conflict of interest exists, and provide referral sources with service recommendations
• Assist in the development of a comprehensive residential program for clients
• Assist in establishing and maintaining procedures to ensure proper residential treatment.
• Follow established clinical and administrative procedures and document proper oversight of residential treatment services.
• Remain current on legislation and regulations that affect residential treatment services and respond accordingly
Qualification/Experience:
• Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or relation discipline in human services
• At least 2-3 years of experience of EMDR or Accelerated Resolution Therapy
• Supervised clinical experience with clients who experience both substance abuse and mental health disorders.
• Familiarity with Motivational Interviewing, Transtheoretical Theory of Change and other empirically-supported treatment approaches.
Licenses:
• LCPC, LMHC, LISW License is required
