LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant for a growing & innovative international corporation located north of Greensboro. The ideal candidate will be degreed with a minimum of 2 years corporate accounting experience. This role offers the opportunity to work and train directly under the Controller and contribute to a rapidly growing company. Senior Staff Accountant responsibilities include the following:
Record daily financial transactions
Prepare annual budget and ongoing forecasts
Financial statement report preparation in accordance with US GAAP
Maintain general ledger
Analyze standard costs of manufactured goods
Analyze operational cost data
Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations
Assist with month-end reporting
Prepare various reports for international parent
Qualifications desired:
Bachelors degree is preferred in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
Minimum 2 years accounting & finance experience
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated
Excellent attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel
