The HR business partner leader and function are responsible for building productive working relationships with bank, system and HR stakeholders and colleagues – working collaboratively across various functions including, but not limited to compensation, benefits, talent development, DEI, employee relations and HR operations.What You Will Do:You will:In close partnership with SVP HR, HR functional leadership, and bank stakeholders; lead and execute the workforce strategic plan for the Bank which includes providing clear direction regarding strategic goals, priorities, and values in the context of organization performance, leadership effectiveness and operational excellence within the banks’ departments, from a people perspective.Provides thought leadership to the Bank's business strategies and HPIs, ensuring our people practices are aligned to drive performance and success.Inclusively lead a cross functional team that includes a HR business partner, compensation and benefits professionals with a diverse set of skills and experiences, ensuring consistent communications, engagement, advice and implementation of programs, processes and knowledge across the departments at the Bank.Build and maintain strong relationships within HR to ensure the policies, programs, processes align with department needs and expectations; with particular emphasis on engagement and customer service.Participates in the development of Bank goals and key objectives, with particular focus on department partnership, resource planning, and strategic workforce initiatives.Engages and collaborates with the HR staff, officers, and senior officers as a business partner. Serves as an advisor and coach to department leadership and staff on HR related programs, issues, and opportunities.Demonstrates a curiosity and willingness to learn the bank’s operations, capabilities and strategic value so that HR programs are tailored and strategically aligned.Develops relationships with FRS leaders and staff, demonstrating thought leadership, engagement, and active participation on system-wide projects.Fulfills job duties and responsibilities in conformance with FRBP and FRS policies and procedures.Creates, leads, and fosters, a Bank culture that is supportive of diversity, equity and inclusion, collaboration, innovation and being open.Direct Reports: Yes.Scope Measurements: Bank population (Approximately 900 employees)What You Have:Education and Experience:Bachelor`s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration (or equivalent).Master`s degree is a plus.Ten or more years of progressively more responsible HR and generalist experiences, with an emphasis on client engagement, strategic planning, consulting and HR operational excellence in the Federal Reserve System, or comparable experience in a corporation or public sector.Proven experience working, leading, and performing in a highly complex and matrixed organization.Knowledge and Skills:Exceptional strategic planning and thinking, inclusive leadership, business acumen and interpersonal skills.Ability to influence leaders and stakeholders at the highest levels of the Bank, through exceptional relationship management, judgment, and communication.Proven ability to positively, coach, lead, and develop others to achieve their professional best.Possesses strong collaboration skills and an interest in ensuring strong cross-functional and enterprise-wide relationships, with an ability to partner with others in the pursuit of common goals.Strong written, presentation and facilitation skills.Other Requirements: None.Physical Requirements: None.The salary grade ( for this position is: $162,700 - $228,000.
