About the Team & Business Line:
Transformation Office strives to create a consistent ability to transform our organization at all times. By bringing together subject matter expertise across process, platform and line of business, we provide clear direction and governance to change, positioning CFS to continually evolve & scale to the changing market dynamics, to our business demands and to our client needs.
As part of the CFS Transformation Office, the Platform Transformation Group is looking for a Platform Owner for Investran. The Platform Owner will work closely together with the other members of the Transformation Office as well as the business stakeholders and platform steering committee members.
As a core member of our Transformation Office, the Platform Owner will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver the most effective and efficient solutions for our clients and our business.
Your Role:
- As part of the Platform Group of the Transformation Office, you will be the platform owner of Investran.
- Follow the Investran Release Schedules and new functionality that is being provided by the vendor.
- Maintain relationship with the account and product team with the Vendor. Attend user group forums and voice any development requests Citco may have as regards Investran.
- Maintain ongoing visibility in the value of the platform, from a license/TCO standpoint, and how that relates to market or build alternatives.
- Conduct ongoing reviews and analysis with respect to Citco’s use of the platform as compared to vendor best practices.
- Design, Implement and maintain a best practice data, integration, workflow, and reporting strategy into and out of the platform.
- Coordinating and managing the Investran systems integrations development and configuration road map.
- Liaise with Business Stakeholders of the various Lines of Business, the business and client process owners and the platform Steering Committee to determine and prioritize the strategic development/configuration roadmap of Investran system integrations.
- Work with business representatives to acquire business sign off for new or amended functionality/configurations.
- Work as an integral part of the Transformation Office and work closely with the other platform owners and the Transformation Office Team members.
- Liaise with key IT personnel, SME’s, Business Analysts, Test Teams during the development process.
- Liaise with key Stakeholders and Plan Sponsors to identify improvements to systems and business process to achieve maximum efficiency and straight through processing.
- If applicable manage the Investran Platform Team consisting of Subject Matter Experts who:
- Provide Business Operations Support in the use of Investran.
- Analyze the operational, client or regulatory/industry specific needs.
- Specify any new functional/configuration requirements.
- Understand the purpose of any client specific or operational needs for Investran functionality/configurations.
- Coordinate/Participate in workshops with Business Analysts, Development team and Business Representatives to translate business requirements into development/configuration requirements.
- Test newly developed functionality/configurations and liaise with the UAT Test Team.
- Educate business users on new system enhancements.
- Trouble shoot, resolve complex problems, specifically for enhancements of Investran or Investran reports or functionality.
- You will ensure the team is able to work effectively, troubleshooting technical issues and working with the Manager to ensure that people are well matched to their work.
- You will coach and develop staff to perform successfully in their current roles and develop them into leadership positions.
About You:
- You have a Bachelor or Master level degree.
- You have 10+ years in Financial Services, ideally in fund services.
- You have advanced knowledge of Investran.
- You have advanced knowledge of Fund Accounting/Property Management Applications.
- You have a background in application development and implementations.
- You have experience leading major core platform.
- You have strong analytical skills.
- You have experience supervising/coaching staff.
- You have excellent communication skills.
- You are fluent in the English language, both verbal and written.
Salary Range: USD 200,000 - 299,000
