Outside Sales Representative

Marjan Stone, a fast-growing company in San Diego, has been a leader in the countertop business for over 20 years, servicing all of San Diego County.

We’re looking for a results-driven sales representative who is an experienced and independent individual to join our team. If you are a highly motivated and target-driven salesperson looking for a high-paid salary plus commission, this position is for you.

We're only interested in talking to individuals with a strong work ethic who are self-motivated and excel at building relationships with commercial and residential clients. While knowledge of the stone countertop industry is preferred, it is not a strict requirement as training can be provided. Experience or knowledge of general construction is important for this position.

There is potential growth from Sales Rep into Sales/Project Manager .

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform market research to find new customers.
  2. Analyze the territory/market’s potential and track sales.
  3. Find and visit new clients, such as cabinet shops, small and large contractors, kitchen and bath designers, property managers, and builders of track homes and multifamily units, plus big box stores.
  4. Create long-standing relationships with new clients.
  5. Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  6. Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and in-person meetings.
  7. Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.

Skills:

  1. A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus.
  2. Highly motivated and driven to close new sales accounts.
  3. Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  4. Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.
  5. Ability to build productive professional relationships.
  6. Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to customers’ needs.
  7. Excellent knowledge of MS Office, CRM, and sales-related apps.

Payment options:

  1. Base + Commission%
  2. Only Commission%

Expected annual compensation: $75,000.00 - $200,000.00.

You will be provided with company equipment such as a laptop and company car/gas card.
