We have doubled our user base in the last year and plan to double our team in the next.
We are looking to bring on a frontend-focused Senior Full Stack Engineer. This is an incredibly exciting time to join SquarePeg as we are redesigning the front end of our platform, so you will have the chance to work on a series of exciting new products from the ground up.
You will work directly with our CTO, Lead Engineer, Head of Product, Product Designer, and engineering team. You will get to contribute to important technical decisions and critical decisions that shape the future of our platform and new product suites.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software with a focus on quality, code reuse, readability, and stability.
- Ensure robust architecture by following best practices and guidelines throughout the entire tech stack.
- Conduct code reviews to make sure new code is error-free and conforms to established guidelines.
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure the application works across multiple devices and browsers.
- Implement front-end development best practices for building, testing, and deploying code.
- Work closely with our design team to ensure good UI/UX.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends in front-end development; evaluate and adopt new technologies/tools/processes to improve productivity and functionality.
Requirements
- Experience working in a scaling tech startup.
- Experience working on complex web apps, preferably SaaS.
- 5 years of experience as a frontend/full stack developer.
- Proficiency with the Angular framework, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Willing to learn Java/Spring and REST APIs; plus if you've used them in the past.
- Experience writing unit and E2E tests.
- Good understanding of UI/UX.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic and ambition.
- Ability to work within 6 hours of EST time zone.
