Bakery Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for proofing and baking bakery goods, as well as packaging and displaying products. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment, and be knowledgeable about bakery products.

• Proof and bake bakery goods following product handling guidelines
• Package and display bakery products
• Rotate and store bakery items according to food safety policies
• Decorate special order or case products
• Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
• Operate bakery equipment in accordance with safety procedures
• Label and price bakery goods accurately
• Clean and sanitize bakery equipment and work areas

• Prior bakery or customer service experience preferred
• Knowledge of bakery products is a plus
• Must be at least 18 years old

• Requires frequent moving and lifting of objects up to 30 pounds
• Work is primarily indoors with exposure to temperature extremes and cleaning agents
