Description
The Services Desk Associate will provide exemplary service to Bayou Bend Health System Fitness Center (BBHSFC) members and guests in a friendly and professional manner at the front desk. Foster positive interpersonal relationships with fellow teammates.
Member Services Desk Associate Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Check members in/out of the facility.
  • Provides exemplary customer service to members, guests, vendors, and fellow teammates. Responds to customer comments and questions in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Performs opening and closing duties.
  • Operates point-of-sales transactions, distributes laundry to members, and books classes for members.
  • Maintain working knowledge of ongoing and current programs within the facility, as well as campus-wide activities.
  • Participate with staff in periodical special members events and wellness programs.
  • Answers and directs all calls on a multi-line phone.
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
The ideal Member Services Desk Associate candidate will posses:
  • High school diploma or GED and 1-3 months related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (must be obtained within 60 days of hire)
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
