Position: Data Analytics Lead

Location: San Francisco, CA

Job Duties:

1. Deliver key insights and analyses that help Heroku leaders make key decisions that shape strategy, operations, the way we market, sell, and interact with customers.
2. Lead data and insights, partnering with marketers, sales strategists, data engineers, visualization engineers, and other colleagues to deliver data products, such as dashboards, reports, and actionable insights.
3. Generate insights (e.g., product analytics, retention analysis, behavioral personas and much more) to accelerate business growth.
4. Acquire and clean data from multiple sources, structuring and building data models, analyzing to generate insights, and distributing those insights to business leaders.
5. Translate business challenges into an analytical plan by practically and creatively crafting quick, effective solutions to problems.
6. Develop relationships and collaborate with teams to understand business problems and build and implement an analytical plan.
7. Deliver insights to an executive audience.
8. Partner with stakeholders to establish success metrics.
9. Partner with data engineers and marketing/sales to instrument, acquire, develop, and structure data assets that are critical to measuring the success of our business.
10. Identify internal and external collaborators to curate data assets and produce actionable data insights and products.

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering (any field)).

Salary: $141,523.00 - $192,500.00 per annum.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $141,523 to $192,500.

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $141,523 to $192,500.

For Washington D.C based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $141,523 to $192,500.

For Maryland based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $141,523 to $192,500.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $141,523 to $192,500.

For Hawaii-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $141,523 to $192,500.
