THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The position entails performing utilization reviews on the documentation of licensed milk dealers to evaluate the acquisition and application of milk, ensuring that payments for milk are both precise and processed promptly. This role emphasizes the verification of data submitted by milk dealers, scrutinizing their records to validate the quantity of milk received and its subsequent usage. The primary aim is to guarantee that the payments disbursed to milk producers correspond accurately with the actual volume of milk received and utilized, thereby upholding both accuracy and efficiency in the payment procedures.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment.
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. During training, you may have the opportunity to telework from home part-time up to 2 days a week. After training, you may be eligible to telework from home up to 4 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $50,836.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • One year of experience as a Financial Programs Trainee; or
  • Four years of accounting and/or auditing experience; and fifteen (15) college level credits in accounting; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training which includes fifteen (15) college level credits in accounting and auditing.
