The Ads Delivery Product Marketing team is part of the Product Strategy and Operations (PSO) organization, and is responsible for building ad campaign delivery solutions for advertisers on TikTok.

As the Product Marketing Manager for Search Ads, you will be responsible for setting the go-to-market strategy for all regions. You will partner closely with the product team and regional teams to develop the overall strategic direction and assess key gaps in our Search Ads offering. Additionally, you will also serve as the liaison between the monetization team and the user side team, representing advertiser needs and influencing the organic search product roadmap.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and consolidate market assessment, quantitative analysis, and qualitative feedback, represent all regions internally with PM and Engineering teams, and define the go-to-market strategy for TikTok's ever-evolving ads product, with a focus on Search Ads.
  2. Partner closely with regional counterparts, sales teams, and other key stakeholders to deeply understand pain points, form business requirements, and prioritize solutions to influence the direction of product development.
  3. Bridge the gap between the monetization team and the user side team, representing advertiser needs and influencing the organic search product roadmap to create a brand-suitable environment for the long-term success of monetization.
  4. This individual must demonstrate a strong understanding of the broader advertising ecosystem as it pertains to Search Ads and the competitive landscape to develop strategic positioning and provide product feedback.
  5. You will be instrumental in setting the go-to-market strategy by region and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy.
  6. Plan and lead the successful adoption of alpha and beta programs for our Search Ads solutions.
  7. Communicate the value proposition of new products to all stakeholders and ensure that effective collateral and packages are created.
  8. Drive product adoption and usage rates by supporting key market strategy and effective product support.
  9. Build an understanding of the most nascent TikTok Search Ads solutions and leverage these products to achieve customer goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  1. BA/BS degree or above.
  2. 5+ years of experience within the digital advertising industry across search, marketplace, social, display, direct response, and/or ad networks with a keen understanding of Search Ads.
  3. Experience partnering with product teams to identify and bring to market solutions for sellers.
  4. Strong knowledge of sales and marketing processes.
  5. Strong knowledge of the competitive landscape of Search Ads.
  6. Experience using Search Ads products from Facebook, Google, Twitter, Amazon, etc.
  7. Knowledge of advertiser needs for organic search and best practices.
  8. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results, developing and executing against global launch plans to bring products to market.
  9. A fast learner with a good sense of judgment and original thinking. Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adjust quickly to change.
  10. A commercial mindset with experience building business cases from market research and analysis.
  11. Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience in global roles.
  2. Knowledge of Search Ads in the setting of a marketplace such as Amazon, Lazada, Shopee, Tokopedia.
  3. Product marketing experience in web & mobile advertising and paid search, and successfully contributing at both strategic and tactical levels.
  4. Strong knowledge across key areas of monetization products including ads delivery, keyword bidding, search algo, targeting, privacy, brand safety, and suitability.
  5. Experience in influencing product management decisions.
  6. Experience in influencing behavior change of key stakeholders at a variety of levels within an organization.

Job Information:

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $128000 - $290160 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
