Join us and realize your full potential.Perini Management Services Inc. is seekingan in-person Estimator I at our Home office in Framingham, Massachusetts.As an Estimator I at Perini Management Services, reporting to the Chief Estimator, you will have the opportunity to work on unique and exciting U.S. Federal Government construction projects.Description:Review project solicitation documents and perform quantity take-offSolicit subcontractor/vendor quotations and distribute solicitation documentsAssist with and develop scope of work packages to define project work requirementsAssist with and evaluate subcontractor/vendor proposals to ensure accuracy in scope (Quantities, schedule, inclusions, exclusions, etc.)Assist with and prepare subcontractor/vendor price analysis sheetsSkills:Ability to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to read and understand construction documentsStrong interpersonal skills including phone calls to subcontractors and vendorsAbility to solicit and evaluate subcontractor and/or vendor proposalsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel and Word)Working knowledge of take-off software, a plusStrong organizational and analytical skills a plusExperience:Two (2) or more years of experience in the construction industry with estimating experience strongly desiredExperience with commercial or Government projects a plusExperience with a construction material supplier and quantity take-off a plusAdditional Information:Easy access to Framingham MA office locationCompetitive Compensation and Health and Welfare BenefitsGrowth opportunities within large estimating department#LI-DP1Equal Opportunity Employer
