Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg in Saint Louis, MO

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 per week
**Experience:** 1-2 years experience preferred
**License:** Missouri license or a compact license in home state. Pending license accepted.
**Certifications:** BLS required; ACLS, CPI preferred
**Must-Have:** EPIC experience required
**Job Description:**
- Ratio: 1:4-5 for all shifts
- High patient turnover with a variety of conditions, such as infection, renal, cardiac, pulmonary, oncology, ortho, bariatric, observation, pre-transplant, psychology, long stay, and COVID.
- Special procedures and skills expected include using Alaris pumps, CPAPs, BIPAPs, bladder scanners, lifts, hover mats, EKGs, and scales.
- Additional training provided to care for a diverse array of patients.
- Expect to work every other weekend.
- Be prepared for high census periods where patients may stay for only a few hours to a day.
- Clinicians will float within the service line as required.
- Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only.
- Compliant with facial hair regulations for fit testing.
- Applicants must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day.
- First-time travelers accepted; locals must live outside a 75-mile radius.
- Orientation includes 40 hours and modules must be completed pre-start.
