Role Details:
While the income potential is significant, this role is challenging with a steep learning curve. The majority of our team members in the Loan Officer role earn between $70,000 and $90,000 annually, with top performers exceeding $100,000.
For the first 3-4 months, you'll start as a Homebuying Specialist with a focus on loan origination. You will receive hands-on experience in the mortgage industry and further develop your sales talents, while working with prospective customers at the earlier stages of the loan process. During this period, you'll earn $20/hour and be eligible to earn performance-based bonuses. Upon meeting our specific performance goals within the expected timeline, you'll be eligible for promotion to the Loan Officer role, which comes with an annual base salary of $60,000 plus uncapped performance-based bonuses. Additionally, those promoted will also receive a one-time bonus of $5,500.

- Educate borrowers on the loan process and assist them in identifying appropriate financing options.
- Interview borrowers to obtain and verify information and documentation.
- Analyze borrowers' credit, income, and assets for prequalification or denial of loan applications.
- Process borrower credit information through an online approval system.
- Structure loans and issue pre-approvals, including interest rates and fees.
- Secure proper documentation and manage the loan process through closing.
- Inform borrowers about future loan documentation requirements.
- Regular follow-up with borrowers and their realtors to facilitate various stages of the loan process.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
