Job Brief

This is an opportunity to join a team of highly skilled TS/SCI professionals who are working on cutting edge technical innovation that will directly support IC related GEOINT, SIGINT, and MULTI-INT missions for Space Doman Assets. Innovation in critical areas such as image processing and analysis, RF Systems, sensor calibration, waveform processing, and signal analysis will be conducted in a laboratory and transitioned into operations to support new approaches for current intelligence needs. We are looking for Signal Processing Engineers or Experts who have a background in those critical areas.

The role of the Signal Processing Engineer is to engage in R&D and software deployment.

Main Duties:

  • Conduct research to enhance current signal processing algorithms.
  • Investigate the use of advanced analytics, such as machine learning, in signal processing applications.
  • Work on improving the efficiency and performance of software algorithms, platforms, and applications.
  • Create and document requirements for algorithm development and implementation.
  • Adapt and improve existing software to support new application needs.

The right candidate will have:

  • Proven expertise in analytical thinking, applied mathematics, and problem-solving.
  • Strong skills in signal processing and mathematics, with experience implementing these concepts in software (C++/C, Python, Matlab, etc.).
  • In-depth understanding of communication system theory and related signal processing methods (e.g., filtering, sampling, modulation, demodulation, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • Skilled in developing and applying data analytics, including machine learning and other AI techniques.
  • Experienced in collaborating within multi-disciplinary, results-driven research teams
  • 5+ years of signal processing experience with applications
  • STEM related Bachelor’s Degree
  • TS/SCI Clearance, US Citizen
