Our client, a leading international law firm recognized as one of Fortune’s Best Places to Work, is seeking an experienced Advertising Marketing & Promotions Associate or Counsel with at least seven years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have substantive expertise in advertising law, consumer protection law, and marketing transactions, including drafting and negotiating agreements related to ad agencies, influencers, celebrity endorsements, sponsorships, online media buying, and other marketing and promotion activities. Responsibilities also include reviewing ad copy for false advertising, claim substantiation, IP, and right of publicity issues; counseling on contest and sweepstakes compliance; price advertising and recurring subscription programs; and loyalty/rewards programs. Experience with false advertising, unfair competition, and National Advertising Division dispute work is a plus. Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, excellent academic credentials, and outstanding legal writing and communication skills. Experience in a large or medium law firm setting is preferred. A hybrid working environment is preferred, with visits to the Seattle office required, and admission to the WA bar is preferred but not required.
