• Operational knowledge of Library
• Knowledge of Koha, D Space, and advanced ICT skills
• OR
• Bachelor Degree/PG Diploma in Computer and IT with programming skills
• Preference for professionals with mastery in Koha and D Space
• Willingness to manage Library software and ICT related works at NU LIRC

Job Description

• Develop Digital Repository System using Open Access Software like D Space and Greenstone Digital Library
• Cataloguing of digital assets in the Digital Repository System
• Addition/integration of trending tools like Google Analytics, usage counter, altmetrics with Koha OPAC webpage
• Management of Library Management Software (Koha)
• Upgradation of Library Management Software (Koha) – Automatic reminders/information (due date, issue and return of books)
• Innovation using ICT trending tools such as user footfalls integration with Library Management Software (Tool), QR code, library app, etc.
• Handling National Mission on Education through ICT (NME-ICT) and INFLIBNET initiative
• Provide information services (AIS, CAS, and CCS)
• Circulation of books (Issue and return)
• Book accession, PPTs and Excel related works
• Works assigned by LIRC In-charge
