Director of Partial Hospitalization Programs Opportunity -

Pembroke Hospital is a 120-bed acute care, inpatient behavioral health facility located south of Boston, in Pembroke, MA. Situated on 26 acres, we offer inpatient and partial hospitalization treatment to teens, adults and older adults, and our services are designed to assess, stabilize, and treat patients by addressing their primary symptoms and problems. The Director of Partial Hospitalization Programs is a vital part of Pembroke Hospital's senior clinical leadership team - reporting directly to the Chief Clinical Officer. This position provides clinical oversight to the Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP). The primary responsibilities of this position are:

  1. Promote and ensure high quality patient care;
  2. Drive program growth and expansion;
  3. Fiscal management of all programming.

The ideal candidate is:

  1. An LICSW (or an LMHC and eligible to provide supervision);
  2. An experienced clinical supervisor with a history of managing multiple clinicians and programs.

This is a full time, on site, Monday - Friday position.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the treatment planning is well designed and implemented
  • Ensures the continual growth of the Program through effective selection and development of staff
  • Receives notification of admission of patients and referrals for intervention
  • Responsible for the public relations and program growth
  • Coordinates clinical information between the treatment team and the prescriber
  • Attends treatment team conferences, milieu meetings, and unit meetings
  • Collects and maintains statistics as directed
  • Serves on any committees to develop policy, program, and procedures
  • Manages daily clinical duties and schedules of staff; flexes staffing as needed
  • Coordinates Performance Improvement monitors and activities for the PHP Program.
  • Coordinate all discharge plans and ensure implementation by all team members
  • Performs interventions as needed including psychosocial assessment, discharge planning, and acting as a liaison for hospitalized patients to various community agencies and resources

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling
  • At least 2 years' experience working in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) setting
  • At least 1 year management experience
  • LICSW or LMHC
