Description:
Hour Media is looking for a skilled IT professional to develop and maintain our information technology systems. The IT Lead will assist the IT Director with day-to-day operations for Hour Media and Hour Media Group. Duties will include providing end-user support, assisting with audits, project management, and IT planning. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently are a must. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for system maintenance and updates.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor systems and network performance
- Provide technical support or training for systems and networks
- Collaborate with other professionals to maintain standards and functionality
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and data restoration
- Assist the IT Director in the planning and execution of backups and data migrations
- Install, configure, and upgrade software and hardware
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a help desk, MSP, or technical administration role
- BA/BS in Information Technology, related field, or equivalent experience preferred
- Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, and presentation skills
- Advanced understanding of macOS, Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office.
- Administration experience with one of more of the following: Active Directory, Adobe Creative Cloud, Cisco Meraki, Device Management (JAMF, Intune, Mosyle, etc.), Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange, Synology NAS products, Windows Server
- Knowledge of IT best practices for security, privacy, and data integrity
- Functional understanding of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and IP networking
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and deal with ambiguity
