Our client is working on the The California High-Speed Rail project in the Central Valley. They are seeking an Outreach Specialist to support the logistical, analytical, and coordination aspects of outreach activities in the Central Valley for various project sections. The Outreach Specialist will work closely with the Public Information Officer II and the Central Valley Office Technician to ensure effective communication and support for the public and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Outreach Planning:
o Support community meetings for Construction Packages 1, 2-3, and 4, as well as the Central Valley Wye segment and Locally Generated Alternative segment.
o Handle logistics including venue setup, staffing plans, equipment checklists, and CHP officer requests.
o Draft construction closure notifications and review traffic control plans.
o Create closure and detour access maps.
2. Stakeholder Support:
o Collaborate with the Central Valley Office Technician to manage project-related inquiries and ensure timely responses.
o Maintain and update contact databases for elected officials and agencies.
o Research and coordinate responses to inquiries with relevant project managers.
o Distribute construction notices and respond to customer service requests.
3. Internal Coordination & Support:
o Coordinate with the Authority's Public Records Act program on construction-related inquiries.
o Input construction notifications into Salesforce.
o Prepare collateral materials for community meetings, including presentations, talking points, and meeting notices.
o Prepare monthly project updates for stakeholders and elected officials.
Minimum Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Familiarity with scheduling processes and event planning.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in customer service.
Base Salary range is approximately $65,000 to $75,000.
