University of Maine System - Temporary Director of Women's Ice Hockey Operations

Assist the Women’s Ice Hockey coaching staff with all aspects of the hockey programs, such as budget, coordinating team travel, and development events for athletic competitions at the Division I level. Adheres to all governing procedures and regulations of the Athletic Department, University, Hockey East, and the NCAA. This is a part-time temporary appointment.

Qualifications:

Required:

  1. Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to NCAA rules and regulations.
  3. Seven or more years’ experience in an athletic department.
  4. Working knowledge of budget analysis and preparation.

Preferred:

  1. Knowledge of computers with experience using ARMS Recruiting Software, Concur Travel, and Microsoft Office.
  2. Experience working with student-athletes from diverse backgrounds.
