Your new employer is a recognised specialist providing high-quality services to many customers across NSW. This is a great opportunity to join and lead the finance function of an organisation that is passionate about its industry. They are a key service provider within the transport industry.
About your new role…
Reporting and providing sound financial advice to the Directors. This newly created role will see you join a stable finance team with a supportive and social culture.
Some of the key tasks include:
- Prepare Monthly and Annual financial statements for the management team
- Manage the full P&L, cashflow statements, balance sheet recs, GL recs
- Oversee payroll processed by team members and be back up for this function when required
- Lead the budgeting process
- Prepare statutory reports and liaise with the external accountant as required
- Prepare and Lodge BAS, GST and FBT
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
- Provide key analysis in sales and inventory
- Oversee AP and AR processes and support team members
About you...
• CPA or CA qualified (preferable)
• Have at least 5 years experience in a similar broad role handling all finance requirements for the business
• Strong excel experience
• Must have own vehicle and drivers licence
• Interpersonally, you are a proactive communicator and can work autonomously and in a team environment
• Proactively seek ways to add value in all areas of your role.
