Overview:
This is a quota carrying position that will manage a team of new business sales professionals. The Director of Sales primary responsibility is to grow new business sales across the Enterprise sales organization within an assigned region. Other responsibilities include sales team management, performance management, pipeline reviews, contract negotiations, territory plans, territory reviews, and sales forecasting.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to navigate and coordinate multiple stakeholders in highly complex deals.
- Experience managing high value deals with extended sales cycles.
- Proven track record of success leading Enterprise sales teams and engagements.
- Creative and strategic approach to developing and executing GTM strategies that build consistent new logo pipeline and revenue growth.
- Strong ability to build, train, develop and mentor high performing teams.
- Sharp analytical focus on the data, metrics, and KPI’s that create consistent and repeatable success.
- Passionate leader of people, someone that can not only rally and inspire their team, but also inspire others across the organization to collaborate and work toward a greater cause.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Large account sales experience.
- Strategic selling sales experience in a long sales cycle environment within large accounts where decisions are distributed cross functionally.
- Minimum five years B2B sales experience in large F500 accounts.
Knowledge & Skill:
- Has broad business and knowledge of a specific function, business unit or technical discipline.
- Has broad general knowledge of all relevant business relationships within the company.
- Has broad understanding of the company’s businesses and other functional groups.
- Has a broad understanding of industry issues.
- Demonstrates people leadership skills for significant populations and/or technical experts.
