The Private Equity Client Service Team is a niche coverage group providing client service and operational support for the firm’s private funds. The team’s mandate is to partner with various internal teams, as well as external fund administrators, to provide our private fund investors with a consistent client service experience. This requires a deep understanding of the product as well as operational process flow oversight and execution. The Client Service Analyst’s scope of work will include ownership of the day-to-day management of client inquiries and requests, management of our fund administrator relationships, and production and dissemination of client/regulatory/shareholder services reporting as well as investor communications. The Analyst will be an integral part of the team, working toward a common goal of providing exceptional client service. They will gain hands-on experience performing various operational functions and working directly with clients as described below:
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive support to Investor Relations team in servicing, and maintaining the investor database in addition to periodic and ongoing client support
Assist clients with required documentation
Manage internal posts of reports and marketing materials
Perform account maintenance including but not limited to; name/address changes, and other ongoing database maintenance
Regular and proactive contact with clients regarding; new account documents, LOA's, account updates, checks and wires, transfers, statement inquiries, research, etc.
Maintain accurate and detailed client files
Client service support of NB Alternatives fund(s) including communication with clients regarding financial statements, capital calls, distributions, quarterly updates, and tax documents
Field telephone calls and emails from clients; work with the appropriate NB staff to answer client requests
Assist with special projects
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or 2-4 years of equivalent working experience in the financial services industry
Proficiency in MS Office including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook products; familiarity with working with financial and marketing databases preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong client servicing skills
Strong collaboration, time management, and organizational skills
Able to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
Client-focused and detail-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced work atmosphere.
Knowledge of Registered Funds a plus
Knowledge of eFront suite of applications (Front Invest and Investment Café), preferred
