OTTO’s opportunity:

Our General Manager is responsible for strategic direction and management to include Sales, Engineering, and Quality Assurance. Member of OTTO’s Senior executive management team that develops, plans, and directs strategies for the direction and administration of OTTO’s business activities.

Specifically, the General Manager will:

• Responsible for profitability, growth, and strategic direction.
• Manage a staff of Directors and Managers to achieve objectives.
• Act as a functional resource for subordinate staff.
• Develop long and short-range business plans.
• Establish and manage budget and operational objectives.
• Nourish and lead an employee-centric corporate culture/environment.
• Assist with other related duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to bring to the table:

• Minimum 15 years providing supervision in an executive role for a manufacturing company with at least 2 years of broad cross-functional responsibilities across Engineering and Sales.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Possess exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to manage an organization that is fast-paced with many operational projects.
• Demonstration of a “hands-on” detailed involvement in functional responsibilities.
• Experience in creating a people-oriented work environment and able to relate to employees of all levels.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to provide leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development.
• Experience in Manufacturing and Product Engineering industries.
