Overview:

The Senior Data Analyst role is a critical addition to our Data Accelerator team, directly aligning with our Business Information Technology Transformation (BITT) FY24 Mission. This role demands a proactive and insightful professional dedicated to supporting mission commitments through comprehensive data analysis, migration research and planning, report remediation, and progress reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a commitment to driving business impact through data-driven insights and governance strategies.

Responsibilities:

  1. BITT Remediation and Migration Planning: Lead data migration quantification and reporting efforts to inform the BITT team's strategic planning and execution. Ensure accurate and timely analysis that supports the decision-making process and migration initiatives.
  2. Dashboard Evolution: Drive the evolution of BITT-impacted dashboards by analyzing current-state business processes and identifying necessary updates and remediations in light of data migration efforts.
  3. Data Remediation and Migration Analytics: Provide ongoing analytics and reporting on the status of the data migration process, identifying challenges, opportunities, and progress against planned objectives.
  4. Data Curation and Siloed Logic Removal: Collaborate with Technology Services (TS) to spearhead essential data curation projects, aiming to dismantle siloed business logic and promote unified data governance practices.
  5. Support for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR): Facilitate data requests, analysis, and reconciliation efforts during the data migration period to ensure stakeholders have accurate and comprehensive insights for decision-making.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or 10 years data analytics experience.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, data governance, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading data-driven projects to successful completion.
  3. Expertise in data migration planning, data quality management, and dashboard development.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  5. Strong communication and project stakeholder management skills.
  6. Works well with large, cross-functional teams, including experience with Data Governance and Data Management coordination.
  7. Proficient in SQL, Python, or R, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functional teams and influence decision-making processes.

The annual U.S. base pay range for this position is: $112,960.00 - $169,440.00
