POSITION OVERVIEW:

The District Manager is responsible for leading a group of assigned stores within designated markets to drive profitable sales through Talent, Operations, and Experience. Accountable for talent acquisition, development, and retention that supports operational excellence and an engaging experience in order to maximize sales. They demonstrate a Drive for results and are Accountable for their leadership and performance while being Collaborative and Courageous in communication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Attract and retain talent to support the needs of the district, region, and brand.
  2. Lead the talent acquisition, immersion, education, and retention of store management.
  3. Focus on continuous talent development to build a succession of future leaders.
  4. Drive profitable sales through effective business analysis.
  5. Identify operational and financial opportunities to address current business challenges and create action plans to deliver desired results.
  6. Teach and develop leaders in operations and ensure consistency across stores within their district.
  7. Possess strong business acumen with the ability to flex, adjust and pivot to internal and external factors to drive results.
  8. Lead performance management through coaching and adherence to company standards.
  9. Teach and ensure visual merchandising to brand direction across market.
  10. Provide daily leadership that motivates teams to achieve.
  11. Teach, develop and model exceptional customer in-store interactions.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. 5-8 years of relevant retail management experience.
  2. 3-5 years minimum of multi-unit leadership, preferably with a specialty retailer.
  3. Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field or equivalent work experience.
  4. Proven results in driving top-line revenue, creating hospitality focused customer experiences, and attracting, developing, and retaining associates at all levels.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environment.
  6. Consultative skills/mindset and ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across varied stakeholder audiences including organizational leaders.
  7. Experience working with managers on associate relationship issues, retention and associate engagement, talent assessments, and performance management.
