Job Title: Android Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Employment Type: Full-time (permanent)

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
2. At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology and 2 years of Android development experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. At least 2 years of experience in Android SDK (Jelly Bean/Kit Kat) and Android framework (activities, services, related life cycles, intents, content providers, broadcast receivers).
2. Understanding of different screen sizes and resolutions for Android UI designing.
3. Multi-threading and thread synchronization for Android.
4. At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle.
5. At least 4 years of experience in project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
6. Ability to work in a team in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
7. Experience in the insurance domain.
8. Analytical skills.
9. Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
