Looking for a competent & experienced cook for large scale patient and retail food production. 1 - 2 years' experience preferred. Sanitation knowledge and organizational skills a must. Rotating weekend / holiday shifts. Great medical / vacation benefit package.
Responsibilities
Plan and forecast adequate quality food products for the assigned meal and menus/ customers. Produce Consistent Quality Food Practice of Food Safety - Handling of Food. Position Support/Teamwork. Time Schedules. Department Safety. Clean Work Environment. Food Safety - Personal Responsibility. Team Support. Other duties as assigned.
Competencies Skills
Essential:
* Clear Communication Skills Both Written and Verbal
* Knowledge Of Basic Computer Programs
* Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members
* Able To Withstand Crisis Situations
* Has Skills to Provides Customer Service to Patients, Team Members and Visitors

Education
Essential:
* High school graduate or equivalent
Other Information
Preference given to those who have had experience with some aspects of the job to include assignments &/or food service equipment. Must be able to read and write to follow production sheets, recipes, and other requirements of the kitchen. Serv Safe Certified- Must become Serv Safe Certified by the end of the first year of employment.
