Summary
The Director of Operations is responsible for leading and optimizing all aspects of our global Operations, mainly in Production, Inventory Management and Fulfillment. The primary focus of this position is to drive efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. This strategic role involves developing long-term operational strategies, efficiently managing operational budgets, and working cross-functionally to achieve the goals of the business. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a focus on continuous improvement and enhancing overall performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Responsibilities: (not limited to the following)

  • Define Operations Roadmap that align with the Company's Strategic goal and create tactical action plans for execution towards achieving these goals
  • Ensure all warehouses operate at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
  • Efficiently manage overall capacity and labor planning to ensure an optimized balance between meeting needs of the organization and minimizing labor costs.
  • Establish and track KPIs for all areas of the Operation to track performance
  • Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping.
  • Hire, train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
  • Review and prepare workflows and SOPs, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Familiar with resource management software tools such as ERP/WMS
  • Identify and troubleshoot ERP/WMS related issues as it pertains to Operational workflows. • Supervise daily activities of the warehouse and production floor, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service needs. • Daily reconciliation of orders and shipments to ensure we are maintaining SLAs for all customers. • Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed. • Meet regularly with warehouse and production leads to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention.
  • Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers and internal facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages.
  • Work weekends and overtime as needed
  • Report to management on activities and issues
  • All other reasonable duties assigned
