Tax Manager – Public

Our CPA firm client has an immediate need for a Tax Manager.

Duties:

1. Advise clients on corporate, partnership, individual and trust and estate tax services.
2. Oversee the calculation and analysis of proprietary tax strategies for clients.
3. Continue to develop relationships with clients, including involvement in networking and business development activities.
4. Provide clients with in-depth industry knowledge.
5. Assign, track and manage tasks/projects that are sent to staff/supervisors to prepare.
6. Take an active role in developing staff and supervisors.
7. Provide both leadership and supervision to Tax Seniors and Staff.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required; Master of Tax preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of CPA firm tax experience required.
3. CPA required.
4. Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising, reviewing returns and training staff.
5. Proficient in corporate, partnership and individual taxation.
