Job position: Firm Lead RepresentativePay rate: $135 per hourLocation: New york CityDuties and Responsibilitiesmaintain control over the work duties, schedule, and performance of the Designated Employee and Key Team Members and serve as principal liaison between CUNY and Contractor for purposes of administration of the Contract;be employed by the Contractor; andhave full decision-making authority on behalf of Contractor and the authority to obligate Contractor.Qualifications:Educational BackgroundAdvanced Degree: A master's degree or higher in law, education, human resources, or a related field is typically preferred.Title IX Training: Completion of specific Title IX training programs or certifications is highly beneficial.Professional ExperienceRelevant Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in Title IX compliance, legal affairs, or related fields, with a proven track record in handling Title IX investigations and compliance matters.Leadership Experience: Experience in a leadership or management role within a Title IX office, compliance department, or legal setting is important for overseeing and guiding teams.Knowledge and SkillsIn-depth Knowledge of Title IX: A thorough understanding of Title IX regulations, policies, and procedures, as well as related federal and state laws.Investigation Skills: Expertise in conducting investigations into allegations of discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct, including the ability to manage complex and sensitive cases.Policy Development: Experience in developing, implementing, and revising policies and procedures related to Title IX compliance.Training and Education: Ability to design and deliver training programs for staff, students, and other stakeholders on Title IX issues.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders, including administrators, students, and legal representatives.
