What You'll Do:
The Sales Director is in charge of sales strategies in all market segments with focus on maximizing the total hotel room and banquet revenue. Must have a strong understanding and expertise in the sales process, perform direct sales to business mix targets, responsible in handling local and national sales inquiries and accounts. Prepares sales reports such as but not limited to forecasts, budgets, goals, sales and marketing strategies and budgets, leads/inquiries, group bookings and STR report.
We are in search of qualified candidates who can excel at the following:
- Implement approved sales and marketing plan.
- Develop, create, and implement innovative sales and marketing techniques.
- Proactively conduct outside sales calls, site tours and entertainment calls.
- Monitor and cultivate production of all top account production.
- Prepares sales reports such as but not limited to forecasts, budgets, goals, sales and marketing strategies, lead generation, group bookings, STR report analysis.
- Actively contribute to bi-weekly revenue generation call by providing new business update cut-off dates and group puck-up status, in order to refine the short-term sales strategy.
- Meet and uphold A&R Hospitality's Culture, Mission and Values.
What You'll Need/What we're looking for:
- Valid Driver's License and clean MVR.
- Previous sales experience.
- Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities.
- Strong understanding and expertise in the sales process, perform direct sales to business mix targets, responsible in handling local and national sales inquiries and accounts.
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely and efficiently with other team members in delivering the highest level of hospitality, products, and services.
- Available to meet guests, which may include weekends.
- Ability to propose and lead the application of new methodologies that satisfy systematic and scalable processes.
