Job Description

Prime Response Inc. (PRI) is seeking a full-time Project Manager with proven experience in Logistics, Supply, Material Management, and Asset Management to support a long-term Federal customer in Bethesda, MD. The right candidate will provide onsite management authority and lead PRI’s task order proposal development based on company templates.

Project and Program Management: Providing data-driven management over federal government processes and projects.

Personal Property Life Cycle Coordination: Providing customer-focused, mission-focused personal property life cycle coordination across the program (Order, Receive, Issue, Manage, and Disposal).

Managing and Supervising Personnel: Directly overseeing staff employees and subcontractor employees performing a wide range of personal property tasks for support services and/or related programs.

Customer Service: Ensuring customers are satisfied with PRI performance and work products meet the standards of performance and professionalism of all high-profile customers.

Strong Communications Skills: Superior communications skills including Interpersonal Communications with customers and workforce, as well as strong writing skills with experience at drafting Task Order Proposals and/or Business Development writing.

Subject Matter Expertise: Experience and expertise in one or more government contracting subject areas, such as Logistics, Supply, Material Management, and Asset Management.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  1. On-site management, oversight, and quality control of all contractual responsibilities.
  2. Ensure deliverables are completed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement.
  3. Professional primary interface between PRI and the government customer.
  4. Serve as the primary point of contact when there are customer issues related to quality, customer service, or contractor accidents and mishaps on site.
  5. Set-up and lead meetings, follow up on action items, and balance multiple work items at once.
  6. Coordinate with project managers and the government customer to discuss project activities, schedules, workloads, potential problems and their resolution.
  7. Ensure that projects and manpower are properly scheduled, approved, and documented.
  8. Maintain or establish partnerships and alliances with customers, vendors, and contractors.
  9. Issue tracking and follow-up with PRI management and customers.
  10. Track and coordinate deadlines and submissions of unique as well as recurring programmatic events.
  11. Promote company-wide implementation of industry best practices.
  12. Assist with personnel hiring.
  13. Draft Task Order Proposal based on company templates.

Requirements

  1. College degree and at least five (5) years of relevant experience OR a high school diploma and ten (10) years of relevant experience. Relevant experience required for this position involves performing project management tasks such as staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and client interaction.
  2. Experience in a scientific research or clinical environment for a Federal agency is preferred.
  3. Strong writing skills with some proposal writing experience preferred.
  4. Military or Federal Government experience in Logistics, Supply, Material Management, and Asset Management preferred.
  5. Demonstrated experience with basic data organization, creating tables and charts in MS Excel.
  6. Keen eye for details and meticulous on quality of performance.
  7. Strong understanding of business metrics and reporting.
  8. Knowledge and experience with employment coaching, mentoring, and conflict management and resolution.
  9. Advanced planning and organizational skills.
  10. Supervisory experience directing multiple tasks and managing activities assigned to personnel.
  11. General knowledge of Government policies and procedures preferred.
