Our client is looking to hire a CNC Programmer for their facility in Mentor Ohio. Our client is the U.S. leader in manufacturing high-performance and race part for the automotive and powersports industries.
The CNC Programmer is responsible for writing CNC programs , develop efficient CNC programs, CNC programming maintenance, operate the machine as needed, and troubleshoot manufacturing problems to identify/improve manufacturing methods.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities:
- This position will require generating, updating, and maintaining programs for CNC mills through CAM software, manual programming, and custom macro programming
- Write production CNC programs which meet or exceed expectations
- Accountable for the continuous improvement of the programming process to help make RWB a world-class organization
- Will be relied upon for technical expertise in team activities
- CNC program maintenance & updates due to design changes
- Operate machines as required
- Responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and promptness of all work
- Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and identify/improve manufacturing methods/processes as required
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of machining experience using CNC mills and 1-2 years programming experience using CAM software
- CAM software packages, Microsoft Office Suite, Email/Outlook
- Working knowledge of CAD systems, solid understanding of machine processes and cutting tools
- Thorough knowledge of common measurement procedures, equipment, and practices
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Personal protective equipment is required including but not limited to gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection
