Job Summary The Process Improvement Specialist I plays an important role in integrating daily operational enhancements into our organizational culture. The position collaborates closely with advanced improvement staff and the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) team to coordinate process improvement efforts and support seamless execution of projects. The role contributes to the organization's commitment to a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, continuous improvement and operational excellence. Essential Responsibilities Process Improvement Use proven process improvement methodology to improve organization work and promote learning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective implementation of process improvements. Support and assist with the creation and implementation of project plans at various levels of the organization. Support the integration of lean thinking with continuous improvement activities and training. Collect and analyze data to identify process inefficiencies. Create comprehensive documentation, including process maps and reports. Promote using voice of the customer to inform continuous improvement activities. Ensure systematic problem solving and consistent processes. Stay informed about industry trends to enhance skills and contribute to the team's knowledge base. Operations Assist to shape a forward-thinking, collaborative environment, embodying a commitment to continuous improvement. Foster collaboration by understanding and addressing operational needs across various departments. Coordinate efforts and actively engage with advanced improvement staff and EPMO for seamless collaboration. Contribute valuable perspectives for innovative solutions aligned with organizational goals. Assist to standardize intake and project approach using continuous improvement model. Contribute to the development and facilitation of leadership-focused process improvement models. Efficiently manage administrative tasks such as scheduling and documentation to support project execution. Support research project work as needed. Learning and Development Assist in creating training materials for process improvement methodologies. Provide logistical support during training sessions, handling scheduling, setup, and resource coordination. Assist in administrative tasks, including attendance tracking and organizing follow-up activities. Collaborate with the training team to identify and implement improvements in content and methods. Assist in delivering process improvement trainings. Assess need for basic improvement methods.
