We are a rapidly growing organization in the New City, NYS area. We are seeking to hire a Quality Control Manager with Cosmetic Industry experience to join our team of progressive professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following responsibilities:

Job Summary:

The Quality Control (QC) Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the quality control process within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures that products meet or exceed customer expectations and comply with all industry standards and regulations. The QC Manager will lead a team of quality control inspectors, develop and implement quality control policies and procedures, and work closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and processes to ensure product quality.

Supervise and lead the quality control team, including hiring, training, and performance management.

Conduct regular quality audits and inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify areas for process improvement.

Implement corrective actions to address any non-conformities or quality issues.

Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics and report findings to senior management.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, etc.).

Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, inspections, and audits.

Prepare and present quality reports to stakeholders.

Work closely with customer service and sales teams to address and resolve customer complaints and concerns related to product quality.

Ensure that all customer quality requirements are met, and any issues are promptly addressed.

Provide ongoing training to the quality control team and other relevant staff on quality control procedures and best practices.

Stay up to date with industry trends, advancements in technology, and new regulations.


Job Requirements:

Associates degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc.) are highly desirable.

3+ of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.

Cosmetics Industry Experience - required

Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Effective communication and leadership abilities.

Proficiency in using quality control tools and software.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
