Head of Business Development Industrial Seals
SKF Seals recently launched a new organization, we're now taking the next steps to set a strategic direction for growth, unlock the full potential of our sealing solutions, create operational autonomy, and increase closeness to our customers and markets.
As Head of Business Development Industrial Seals, you are the voice of the Industrial Markets inside the Business Unit Seals Management Team. We expect you to set the strategic direction, drive global market insights, and create customer-focused go-to-market plans.
You will lead a dynamic team, and coordinate efforts across regions and functions to uncover growth opportunities. You will ensure business growth and be responsible for the Profit and Loss status of the industrial market segments inside Seals.
Key Responsibilities
Together with your team, you will:
- Implement and develop industrial strategy, including short/long-term targets and objectives.
- Drive global market knowledge development and distribute insights across the organization.
- Design effective go-to-market strategies with a focus on customer experience.
- Collaborate with the sales department to set targets for each segment and region, integrating strategic marketing to identify and prioritize growth opportunities.
- Lead and manage the global segment and the marketing & communication team, providing guidance and support to achieve targets.
- Ensure coordination between segments and regions, managing information, resources, and capacity, while identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Optimize the product line profitability and growth by driving global capacity planning, coordinating new product development, and conducting competitor benchmarks and market analysis.
- Create cross-functional make/buy strategies.
We expect you to have:
- Engineering or business administration degree or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of the relevant Industries, including current trends, best practices, and tools.
- A good overview of seals products, technology areas, processes and capabilities is advantageous.
- You probably have experience from both driving front-end sales as well as business development experience.
- Good IT and customer integration knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills in English.

Additional Information
The position will be at one of SKF locations, with preferred countries being Sweden, Germany, USA, Mexico, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Slovenia, Poland and Japan. But please note that we do not limit the location to any of the preferred locations, we are open for applicants worldwide.
