**Experience:** Two years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting preferred
**License:** Licensed by the Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
**Certifications:**
- Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care
- Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (American Heart Association) within 3 months of hire
**Must-Have:**
- RRT credential required
- Experience with pediatric patients
- Appropriate clinical decision-making skills
**Job Description:**
- Provide services for the Respiratory Therapy Department for all age levels
- Administer therapeutic treatments as prescribed by attending medical staff
- Record treatment information and patient response in computerized medical records
- Act as a resource person to medical staff
- Perform invasive and non-invasive diagnostic testing and monitoring
- Ensure respiratory equipment is cleaned and maintained
- Maintain necessary respiratory therapy records
- Perform as part of the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests
- Deliver age-appropriate care to patients
- Handle additional duties as assigned
