Description
The Technical Account Manager is responsible for providing support and guidance to established customers and managing the ongoing relationship between our customers and the company.
As a part of this team, the Technical Account Manager will work as a liaison between our valued clients and our team. This position not only serves as a first point of contact for customers, but also identifies new opportunities in which our products and services can better help our clients' businesses. The account manager will manage multiple customers and serve as an advocate for our clients' needs.
Job Duties:

  • Work within assigned accounts to engage with clients, generate new business and maintain existing client relationships.
  • Learn and understand our technology offerings and collaborate with our technical resources to develop solutions to meet the clients' needs.
  • Manage the ongoing relationship with the customer, including regular check ins, updates on product and service offerings while looking for upsell opportunities.
  • Develop and present technical proposals and manage a pipeline of project opportunities.
  • Join with Sales and Service team to consult with clients for Quarterly Business Review meetings. Focusing on overall performance, areas of improvement and discussing strategies for achieving the clients' goals.
  • Travel to Client sites approximately 25% travel.
Overall this position plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and retention by providing excellent support and managing the ongoing relationship with the customer.
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a Sales account manager or a customer-facing sales position (retail, hospitality, etc.)
  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • An ability to answer inquiries on time
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field a PLUS
  • Information Technology knowledge and a willingness to learn more a MUST
